Hypnotic (2023)

Imagine a detective whose world unspools into eye‑watering surrealism when a missing‑daughter case turns into a play of fractured realities. In this detective thriller, the government conspiracy and reality‑bending crimes form a unique narrative quilt that never settles for linear storytelling. Joaquin Phoenix carries every scene with a quietly unsettling presence, almost no dialogue yet delivering more tension than a full dialogue scene. This pulse‑racing mind‑bender is tailored for you when you crave cerebral suspense that bends your perception of what makes a crime drama. Despite a slight pacing lull after the first act, the payoff remains compelling.
