Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)

You slip into Salem with a swagger that's as sharp as a witch's spell. Hocus Pocus 2 marries supernatural horror to irreverent teen comedy, an unlikely mix that feels less like a sequel and more like a brand-new spellbook. The standout energy bursts when the Sanderson sisters trade old-school curses for modern-day slang, turning each cameo into a laugh-out-loud visual misstep that keeps the pace humming. Hitches appear when the third act slows, but the inevitable witchy showdown salvages the momentum. You’ll find yourself cheering for the teens whether you crave teen drama or a second dose of nostalgic black-flame candle fun.
