HIM (2025)

Your first lag at a brain trauma story takes a sharp turn when you meet Isaiah White, the guy who turns a compound into a training ground. The film’s edge sits in its unique blend of sports framing and psychological unraveling, making each practice session feel like a step toward paranoia. A standout moment is when an intimate, handheld camera follows Cam down a neon‑lit corridor, turning a simple drill into a visual metaphor for mind‑break. The pacing thins a bit in the middle when the story stalls on ritual, but the tension quickly rebuilds. You’ll find yourself gripping the edge of your seat because pure dread mingles with the thrill of the gridiron.
