Must Watch

Imagine a cramped cockpit suddenly turning into a battlefield where every breath feels like a countdown. Hijack 1971 twists the hostage‑cabin trope by pitting Ha Jung-Woo’s former Korean Air Force pilot instincts against a crew’s desperate calm. A standout moment lands in a heart‑thudding midflight exchange where tense silence rivals gunfire, offering a cinematic roar that feels both raw and disciplined. The film’s only hitch comes from a mid‑act slowdown that lets the tension fan out a bit before reigniting into urgent precision. You’ll appreciate this tense thriller for its claustrophobia, technical authenticity, and psychological edge.
