Havoc (2025)

Neon‑lit streets in Havoc pull you into a spiraling crescendo of gunfire and betrayal, turning the city into a labyrinth of danger. Your own reflection of law goes dark as the lone cop's grit is matched only by his deceitful world, setting a tone of unrelenting tension. Joaquin Phoenix's near‑silent portrayal anchors every tense exchange, a standout that keeps time passing in a barely‑breathing hush. High‑pitch electronic pulses in the chase scenes splice the action, a sonic element that feels almost organic to the blood‑thick scene. Only the extended middle act drifts a bit, stretching the rhythm before another surge that lands with uncompromising force.
