Haunted Mansion (2023)

When the house begins to whisper, you can feel the ordinary turning uncanny. The film pairs an off‑beat motley crew of self‑proclaimed spiritual experts with a family scrambling to survive a warm‑hearted nightmare. A scene where a grizzled shaman turns a traditional séance into a reluctant stand‑up routine steals the show with deadpan humor. A few long takes in the first act can test your patience, but the tension climbs steadily, keeping you on your toes. It’s best suited for viewers who relish a horror‑comedy that winks at the supernatural while keeping a playful edge.
