Good Fortune (2025)

If you ever wonder how a cloud of mischief could ripple through a gig worker’s life, this fantasy comedy fills that curiosity. Unlike conventional angels, Gabriel lacks patience and brandishes an invisible, crumpled checklist that mirrors the gig economy’s absurdities. The standout moment comes when he accidentally turns a banker’s dinner into a banquet of comically literal financial metaphors, showcased through sweeping, high energy sequences. You’ll feel the film’s ironic bite and appreciate its fast-footed satire while rooting for the underdog. However, a lingering slowdown in the final act slightly dims the overall spark.
