Living a simple life, Asyikin works as a pharmacy assistant near their residential area while Zamri works as an ordinary clerk. Things change when Asyikin becomes pregnant for the third time, which deeply disturbs her emotions and mental state. She worries about their financial situation as they live hand-to-mouth, struggling to make ends meet day after day. When Asyikin is six months pregnant, Zamri is involved in a road accident that breaks his leg and requires time to heal.
