Finch (2021)

As the sun arcs across a barren world, the only sound is the rhythm of distant footsteps and you find yourself drawn into a quiet, almost sacred space. In this post‑apocalyptic sci‑fi drama, you meet a robot that lingers like a whispered memory, and you see how it begins to understand what it means to care. The standout element is Joaquin Phoenix’s understated presence, where even his sparse lines feel like a raw ache that lingers long after the frame fades. But the film still lags a bit in its second act, pacing that stretches the silence into a test of patience for some viewers. Ideal for fans of introspective sci‑fi and quiet, emotionally resonant dramas that explore the boundaries of humanity.
