Fight Against Evil (2021)

New Year fireworks spark this tense drama, pulling you into a hometown where past sins cling like shadows. It shatters the usual procedural into a gritty, personal siege, blending ancient customs with forensic precision. Neeraj Kalsotra’s steadyhand elevates every frame, turning a single long take into a pulse-pounding meditation on duty and family. While the film's early pace treads too slowly before the chase begins, the tension restrengthens before the final confrontation. You’ll appreciate it if you crave crime thrillers that occupy the darker corners of morality rather than smooth daylight chases.
