Exit 8 (2025)

If you can picture a sterile subway corridor stretched across infinity, you will feel a chill as you step inside, which is exactly what Exit 8 delivers. Unlike other confined thrillers, the film gives you a simple rule: notice everything, for the tiniest anomaly is a gateway back to the start. The director's choice to build the station from real concrete blocks and a single flickering bulb turns every sound into a trembling sensation of dread. You will find the relentless focus on mundane details a stark, unsettling contrast to the film's quiet, almost silent performances. The pacing slows in the second half, making the relentless visuals feel slightly hollow even as the room's tension remains.
