Eternity (2025)

When you step into an afterlife where every soul has only a week to decide where eternity settles, the quiet beats pile in anticipation. This contemplative romantic drama turns ordinary love into a speculative, poignant marathon through a chorus of floating vignettes tied to Joan’s past. Joaquin Phoenix delivers a compelling, almost wordless presence that anchors the story and lets silence bloom instead of melodrama. Despite its subtle pacing—while the third act drifts almost into reverie—it rewards viewers with unexpected depth. If you crave a romance that lingers beyond what you see, Eternity feels like an intimate, introspective conversation waiting to happen.
