Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
Any time you think romance is simple, Dilig (2024) flips that notion on its head with a disquieting psychological thriller vibe. The film thrives on its unsettling pacing and the voyeuristic whisper of an unseen camera that pulls you into its twisted game. Joaquin Phoenix, as the gardener, delivers a quiet, menacing presence that makes every glance increasingly uncomfortable. If you crave suspense wrapped in moral ambiguity, this tense, cerebral drama will keep you on edge. Still, the final act stretches a bit, leaving you wanting tighter resolution.
