Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback (2025)
The once sleeping case is now awake ⎯
Plot Summary
As police inspector Yamato Kansuke pursues a certain man in the snowy mountains of Nagano, a shadow suddenly appears in his field of vision. While he's distracted, a rifle bullet fired by someone grazes his left eye and causes an avalanche accompanied by a roar. Ten months later, Kansuke, having miraculously survived the avalanche, receives a report that a researcher at the Nobeyama National Astronomical Observatory has been attacked.
Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
Snow-draped ridges in Nagano carry you into the heart of Detective Conan: One‑Eyed Flashback, a tense, snow‑bound thriller that feels almost live. Unlike conventional detective dramas, it weaves an astrophysical mythos, turning the observatory’s silent darkness into an almost tangible suspect. The avalanche sequence stands out, filmed as a living entity whose frozen fury echoes the night sky’s starlit mystery. A moderate pacing lull in the middle third can briefly disrupt the mounting tension. If you relish cerebral, atmospheric suspense where nature itself becomes a suspect, this will keep you awake.
