Despicable Me 4 (2024)

Hold on to your goggles as Despicable Me 4, an animated family comedy, flips the playground into a high‑stakes drama, promising as much chaos as it does heart. What’s unique is the new villain duo, Le Mal and Valentina, who blend sleek cyber‑thievery with a lethal femme fatale vibe that feels oddly like a Tarantino swagger in Toon‑form. Standout moment: when Gru Jr. glitches the family robot just before the showdown, the animation crackles so vividly it feels like a living rave. You’ll enjoy the frenetic pacing once the third act starts to deliver, but the subtle character detours sometimes leave you waking up with a faint sense of two‑step choreography. Ideal for families who love bright animation and high‑energy antics.
