CODA (2021)

You are pulled into the quiet, rhythmic hum of waves and hand signs, where sound takes a backseat to emotion. What makes the film distinct is its extraordinary honesty: a family living in silence becomes a living text about belonging, where communication breathes through every gesture. The standout element is the use of an original, resonant score that silences itself long enough to let a single note of a guitar become a shared heartbeat across the screen. It will resonate with you who enjoy stories that thrive on nuance, family bonds, and the subtle dance between ambition and obligation.
