Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
Dive into a biting collision of personal trauma and Cold War politics that feels as sharp as a razor. You will find a rare blend of satirical comedy and heavy drama that treats ideology as a family inheritance. Judy Davis delivers a powerhouse performance that anchors the chaos in a haunting, maternal desperation. If you crave intellectual cinema that skewers the ego of the state, this is your next obsession.
