Bureau 749 (2024)

When a rattled young man with a scarred body is forced to confront a creature threatening the planet, you’re pulled into the dark, pulsing universe of Bureau 749. The film blends psychological thriller, speculative horror, and tragic drama into one relentless journey, refusing to settle within any single genre. Tyler Riegger’s almost no‑speech performance compels you to read every gesture and silence for hidden clues, turning his body language into the primary narrative voice. Long, meandering pacing in the first act drags the momentum a bit, leaving the buildup feeling sluggish. You’ll appreciate the film’s languid, immersive mood rather than quick thrills.
