Bullet and Lace (2026)

Imagine you are relaxing at home with your headphones on, listening to your favorite true crime podcast, only to realize the narrator is describing exactly what is happening in your house in real time. That is the scary setup here. You follow a young woman who thinks she is just a fan of a show, but she quickly becomes the target of a masked killer who uses the podcast to taunt her. The whole movie feels like a bright, neon-colored dream that slowly turns into a nightmare. It has a very cool style with lots of bold colors and a creepy mood that keeps you on edge from the start. The acting is great and the twists actually surprise you instead of being obvious. While some of the slow parts might feel a bit long, the final act is a wild ride that makes up for it. If you love slashers with a modern twist, you need to see this. You should definitely stream it in 4K Ultra HD on Prime Video to see all those neon lights pop, or you can rent it on Apple TV for a quick movie night. If you are a big movie collector, adding the 4K Blu-ray to your physical collection is the way to go.
