Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy (2025)

Every time you think you’ve seen the Bridget Jones saga unfold, this fresh installment pulls you in with an unexpected twist on resilience. It keeps the classic quirkiness while threading modern grief into the narrative, making the laughs feel more earned than gimmicky. Rachel McAdams’ sharp timing turns even a casual phone call into a study in vulnerability, a feature that anchors the film. The pacing dips toward mid‑act, letting the heart‑to‑heart breather feel a tad stretched, but it’s quickly rebalance by the finale. If a rom‑com that balances levity and heartbreak is your cup of tea, this film will keep you laughing through the tears.
