Borderlands (2024)

From the opening hour you feel a world that will never abandon its shadows, pulling you into a storm of jagged landscapes and conflicted heroes. By layering each encounter with moral ambiguity and unexpected alliances, the film dismantles the conventional bounty‑hunter narrative in a way that feels earned rather than forced. A standout moment comes when the scar‑covered protagonist's quiet confession turns a brutal strike into a memory that lingers long after the credits roll. Yet the mid‑section churns with heavy exposition, momentarily draining the relentless momentum. This experience rewards you if you crave kinetic set‑pieces, nuanced moral dilemmas, and a visceral emotional payoff.
