Blink Twice (2024)
Are you having a good time?
Plot Summary
When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. But despite the epic setting, beautiful people, ever-flowing champagne, and late-night dance parties, Frida can sense that there’s something sinister hiding beneath the island’s lush façade.
Our Take
Expert, independent review by the HollyFlixHD Editorial Team
Ready to trade a glittering fundraiser for an island escape that turns into a maze of looming secrets? Blink Twice subverts the low‑risk glamour of a tech billionaire’s vacation by pairing it with a hardworking cocktail waitress, making their uneasy camaraderie the story’s backbone. Pastore’s cinematography shifts from sunlit beaches to shadowed reefs, using light as a subtle threat. A few scenes lag, yet the creeping dread compensates. If you thrive on psychological tension with a visual edge, this film will keep you on the edge of your seat.
