BlackBerry (2023)

When you think of a phone, imagine the fog of ambition that turned a campus lab into a global icon. The film slices through the partnership between visionary engineer and ruthless executive, refusing to paint either side with a single brush. The hard‑carved recreation of the hardware’s evolution feels like a museum exhibit you can walk through, and the subtle jazz score punctuates each design decision with a palpable heartbeat. The pacing stutters with occasional expository lulls, so the final act feels rushed against an otherwise deliberate build‑up. You’ll be drawn in if tech history feels as thrilling as its own drama.
