Black Adam (2022)

You hear the sound of a storm in the bones of a forgotten tomb when Black Adam rises, a sudden, thunderous shock that pulls you straight into the fray. The film expands the traditional superhero mold with a character forged by ancient Egyptian gods, whose moral code clashes as violently with modern society as his supercharges. The most striking moment arrives when Adam lands in a field of broken statues, and the practical effects make each impact feel like a tectonic shift. However, the film drags in the middle, trading raw action for a slow expository dig into myth that slightly dents the pacing. If you crave a high-octane, visually intense blockbuster with a brooding antihero, this punchy entry will keep you on the edge of your seat.
