Belle (2021)

Imagine flitting between the cracked fields of your hometown and a glossy digital expanse that seems to pulse with secrets. As a 17‑year‑old wrestling with loss, you feel the town’s jagged edges dissolve into U, an online world where every avatar is both a mask and a mirror. The dragon‑like figure that bursts into the scene breaks the neon calm, becoming a concrete emblem of the haunting, unmoored thoughts that simmer under the surface. You’ll be pulled in because the film blends slow‑burn dread with cyber‑fantasy, letting the screen itself feel like a second skin that grows tighter with each frame. If the pacing hiccups after a tense breakthrough, the emotional payoff and surreal visuals hold enough weight to keep you watching.
