Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024)

Every time you think you’ve seen the afterlife, the Deetz family proves you were wrong. This black comedy horror turns mourning into neon‑drenched theatrics that feels like slipping into a psychedelic carnival. Joaquin Phoenix, as the ghostly CEO, delivers a measured performance that anchors the chaos with a cadence only a seasoned villain could master. Just when the energy feels electrifying, a third‑act plateau creeps in, offering less payoff than the earlier spirals. If you love tongue‑in‑cheek terror that toys with your perception of death, this will keep you grinning in the dark.
