Ballerina (2023)

When a former bodyguard turns ballerina to exact revenge, you step into a dance of death that feels almost ballet‑inspired. What makes it unique is that the film maps the fluidity of movement onto a razor‑sharp vendetta, turning every move into symbolic cat-and-mouse. The standout element is Joaquin Phoenix, who carries every scene with almost no dialogue, letting his eyes and body speak louder than a scream. For you, this tension‑laden revenge thriller is a visceral meditation on grief and responsibility. A pacing hiccup in the middle act briefly blurs the pulse before the final act restores the urgency. Ideal for fans of gritty revenge stories in a dark, atmospheric tone.
