Backrooms (2026)

Imagine stepping through a dusty door in a basement of a furniture showroom and finding yourself trapped in a maze of humming fluorescent lights and beige cubicles—a setting that feels both familiar and utterly alien. Backrooms (2026) turns the idea of a threshold into a psychological thriller, blending the uncanny comfort of a showroom with a slow‑burn sense of claustrophobia that keeps you on edge. The standout element is the immersive soundscape, with the low hum of the lights almost becoming a character that sustains the tension without shouting. If you like your nightmares served with a side of cerebral pacing and inventive practical effects, this film offers a narrative that refuses to hand you a safety rope. Ideal for fans of psychological thrillers who enjoy non‑linear storytelling, you're in for a mind‑bending experience that lingers long after the credits.
