With his glory years behind him and unforgiving real life ahead, he comes upon an opportunity to redeem himself in his wife's eyes. He trades his state-championship ring for a used crib. Unfortunately, his car has broken down. He must push the crib for several miles in a journey that is every bit as doomed and Sisyphean as it is redemptive.
