180 (2026)

When an ordinary traffic jam lances into a swirl of fury, 180's razor‑sharp rhythm abandons over‑production for raw, unfiltered emotion. As a 2026 thriller, the film’s bleak midnight noir tone and relentless, handheld camera turn even the most mundane crosswalk into a stage for a father’s spiral, keeping you on the brink of what’s about to happen. Joaquin Phoenix coaxes every frame with barely any dialogue, letting his eyes trace the descent into darkness—an unsettling, almost silent performance that feels like an inside glance at the brain’s own gears. Its pacing hovers between claustrophobic urgency and a mid‑scene lull that can feel unmoored, a small flaw that gives you the chance to catch your breath before the storm returns. Relish the palpable tension and watch as each split second is designed to make you question what you would do; vengeance may not be a clean cut.
